Statkraft opened its office in Espoo in 2022 with a primary focus on supplying the Finnish industry with renewable energy through power purchase agreements.
Statkraft has been active in the Finnish market for more than 15 years, opening an official branch in Espoo in March 2022.
As a leading PPA provider, Statkraft brings together electricity producers and companies from trade and industry across Europe and develops new innovative concepts. In Finland, Statkraft offers PPAs to industrial and commercial companies as well as to project developers and investors enabling the financing of new renewable power plants. As one of the most important actors in the European energy market, Statkraft trades energy and renewable energy certificates in Finland.
By being active in the market and simultaneously being able to tap into our extensive portfolio in Finland and across borders, we enable customers to achieve their sustainability and procurement targets with competitive pricing. We take on market and portfolio-related risks for them.
